Learn strobe photography - using off camera flash techniques to light like the pros

This workshop is designed for photographers to learn off camera flash techniques to give their pictures the edge. Participants will be taught to light portraiture indoors and on location using small camera speedlights and light modifiers.

Participants are expected to have basic knowledge of photography and to bring their own digital SLR camera. Flash accessories and other equipment are optional as they will be provided.

This is a theory and hands on workshop to ensure maximum learning experience. There will be model shooting sessions for participants to practice.

Class size is limited to 10 participants. Workshop fee is $120 per participant.

The workshop includes :

Getting the right equipment and understanding how to use them- flashes, stands, triggers, modifiers, adapters

Discussion on lighting principles and exposure variables - aperture, shutter speed, flash power, flash to subject distance

Using off camera flash lighting techniques for indoor and on location portraiture

Practice sessions on model
